Texas HHSC Community Partners program (Health and Human Services Commission) would like to raise awareness that telephone eligibility interviews are NOW REQUIRED for SNAP (food stamps) renewals and applications. 

• If an individual does not get interviewed within 7 days of the first call HHSC makes to them, their SNAP and/or TANF will be denied.
