Tax Help Program from Foundation Communities
We are here to ensure Central Texas residents schedule some time to get their taxes done; claiming tax credits can help families pay for day-to-day and unexpected expenses. Folks who have not yet filed their taxes could be losing thousands of dollars in tax credits and soon-expiring stimulus checks. Parents and caregivers of minor children could lose even more money by not claiming tax credits like the Child Tax Credit and Education Tax Credits. Please help us spread the word by sharing the attached year-round flyer.
This is the best time of the year for people with complex tax return situations to get help. Our team can help folks who need help filing their 2023 or prior year tax return(s), have questions, need help responding to an IRS letter, need to apply for or renew an ITIN, or need to make changes to a prior year tax return they’ve already filed.
We’re open at our two Prosper Centers on the following days/times:
Tuesdays: 12 pm – 6 pm
Thursdays: 9 am – 3 pm
One Saturday a month: 9 am – 1 pm (9/14, 10/5)
Appointments are available and walk-ins are welcome!
*Interpretation for Spanish, American Sign Language (ASL), and other languages available!
Folks can learn more and schedule an appointment at ProsperTaxHelp.org. If no appointments are available, check back later. New openings appear daily.
