Your Hour, Her Power Spotlight: Mimi Bond

We’re celebrating Women’s History Month 2022 by highlighting women leaders in our community as part of our Your Hour, Her Power campaign. Our third spotlight is Mimi Bond, Realtor and Team Leader for The Bond Team Real Estate. Read more about her story below!

Q: How did you get to where you are today and what did that path look like for you?

A: Born and raised in Macedonia, I have traveled across the globe, speak 7 different languages, and I am not one to shy away from a challenge. I moved from my home country to the United States in 2005 and lived in Colorado to begin my hospitality career before moving to Austin, Texas. I have worked successfully as a real estate investor with my husband, Richard, since 2015. We started buying, holding, and flipping houses, and have built it into a full-service real estate business. Serving the Greater Austin-area as a REALTOR® with Keller Williams Realty, I find true joy in helping others by sharing my knowledge and experience. I want my clients to discover their dreams come true through the journey of buying, selling, or investing in real estate.

Q: Why do you feel it’s important to have women in leadership roles?

A: Every leader has their own style, but women have a greater likelihood of demonstrating qualities such as self-awareness, empathy, and authenticity that are needed for modern leaders.

Q: Why do you feel it's important for women to have access to the resources DFSA provides?

A: I want women to feel empowered in their lives, and know that they are not alone on this journey as they strive for financial freedom and building a life they want for themselves.

Thank you, Mimi, for participating in this year’s campaign and for helping us empower Austin women, both as a DFSA board member and a leader we can look up to! If you want to support our Your Hour, Her Power campaign, we’re asking our supporters to donate one hour of their salaries to empower women. Donate here.
