This workshop highlights how bias and stereotypes can affect young black girl's communities. Topics include the history of black hair in America, colonization, Eurocentric hair standards, colorism, cultural appropriation, adultification, modern-day introduction to hair care and hairstyles

This workshop is NOT a hair tutorial on how to do hair BUT it will provide basic education and hair care tips.
